What does the acronym GLASS stand for?
GLASS is a LinkedIn initiative that means “Global LinkedIn Ambassadors Social Selling”.
What benefits does GLASS offer?
It is a Digital Expertise Workplace for all members, experienced or novice, in all aspects of Social Selling. In summary, GLASS gathers, distributes and illustrates all components in the selling process using social networks or Social Sales with Social Media Network
How is GLASS organized and what are it’s goals for today and future?
Our goal is to bring together more than 2,000 volunteer project leaders in HighChloeCloud GLASS in 2018 and we have set the following objectives to spread our international agenda.
We are a network of regional offices that recruits Ambassadors and they call the Social Sellers to submit their name for consideration into GLASS.
We use the “Reference Index” published by LinkedIn: The Selling Social Index (SSI) lists all people whose SSI exceeds 60.
I have an SSI of 89 and I expect further progress to reach 93 this year.
First, we are planning on publishing a “Social Sellers” list that make up the ISS from 89 to 99 and we believe the enthusiasm generated in getting the highest number will begin “friendly” competition for the number one position.
The second step of our project is to publish engaging articles in the “Social Selling Story Telling section”.
Our ambassadors will be responsible for initiating contacts to the business of Luxury and Digital.
